A third-generation, family-owned company we strive to meet our customer’s request at the highest level of quality and efficiency, while producing in harmony with nature.   1. Idea

    At the beginning, our idea was to produce precise punched and bent parts for companies that did not have production facilities of their own.

  2. 1973Foundation

    Due to the increasing demand for precise punched and bent parts, along with the corresponding demand for suitable manufacturers, Xaver Settele founded his own company Stanz- und Formtechik GmbH located in Füssen / Southern Germany in spring 1973.

  3. 1974New Location

    With its fast growing production the company was required to seek larger facilities as early as in 1974. The company eventually took over 400 sqm production facilities of the former Allgäu Precision company in Buching / Germany.

  4. 1975Expansion of Machinery

    Due to growing customer demands, the company’s machine park was further expanded in 1975.

  5. 1976Seeking to expand

    In 1976, the company evaluated possibilities to further expand. In October 1978, the foundation was laid for today’s plant in Buching / Germany.

  6. 1979Second Move

    After a short construction period, the company moved into its new 2000 sqm factory building in August 1979.

  7. 1985Building of a new Warehouse

  8. 1989Expansion of Production Space

  9. 1997Introduction and Certification of Quality Management System Acc. to ISO-9001

    The newly installed management system aims to continuously improve the plant performance.

  10. 2002Building Extension to existing Plant

  11. 2007Certification of Quality Management System Acc to ISO/TS 16949

    With this standard, the company is able to meet the quality management requirements of the automotive industry.

  12. 2010Certification of Quality Management System Acc. to ISO 14001

    Since 2010, environmental protection has been an integral part of the company’s strategy.

  13. 2011Installing a Photovoltaic System

    One-third of the electricity consumed can now be generated directly at the plant.

  14. TodayStatus Quo

    In its third generation, SFT has become a modern and competent punching and bending company, currently employing approx. 50 staff.
